This year is the bicentenary of George Boole, 1815-64. Boole was a mathematical genius and the first Professor of Mathematics at University College Cork. Boole is described as the ‘fore father of the information age’. His legacy surrounds us, in computers, information storage and retrieval, electronic circuits and controls that support life, learning and communications in the 21st century.
George Boole was a self-taught genius and an innovative educational entrepreneur. Building on the experience of your Mini Company/Bank please outline how you mirrored Boole’s entrepreneurial ability and creative genius in your project in 1,500 words.
