You are invited to engage with expertise at UCC by supporting George Boole 200. The University greatly appreciates contributions of all sizes and recognises your generosity through its donor stewardship initiatives.
Partnering with UCC and George Boole 200 supports a range of projects and your own philanthropic goals. For example, redevelopment of historic 5 Grenville Place in collaboration with Cork City Council will result in a technical, educational start-up centre at George Boole House – an institute that will be unique to Cork in Ireland. Our Boole2School initiative is bringing fundamental logic and math curriculum to classrooms around the world. Historical celebrations are ongoing and include visualisations of Boole’s achievements as well as the digitisation of the memorial window to George Boole in the Aula Maxima. Upcoming exhibitions include a range of events, such as Boolean Expressions at the Glucksman Gallery and the UCC/MIT Compute & Communicate partnership, which will celebrate the work of George Boole and Claude Shannon.
UCC greatly appreciates the support of its donors in enabling the celebration of George Boole’s life and legacy. Your gift to the George Boole 200 Programme will have a lasting effect on the university, its students and the wider community.
Donations can be made in a tax effective manner in Ireland, the US and the UK, so please contact us if you wish to discuss your options.
We welcome your online donation and would like to thank you for your support. If you have any problems with this form – technical or otherwise – please do not hesitate to contact us.
